It is continuously contributing behind the establishment, progress, orderly enhancement and modernization of telecommunications and internet services in Bangladesh. By the virtue of BTRC???s insight strategy, Bangladeshi inhabitants are enjoying the cheapest telecommunications facilities in the world. BTRC is playing the major role for availing internet facilities to countryside users. The implementation of WiMAX and 3G services by the operators across the country was also facilitated by the commission. BTRC also strictly controls the abuse of VOIP technology and illegal voice call termination thus preserving Bangaldesh government from a comprehensive loss of remittance.
